Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz are convening the government's economic cabinet this evening, in order to discuss the plan to allocate a total of NIS 6 billion in grants to Israeli citizens.Other than Netanyahu and Gantz, Finance Minister Yisrael Katz and Economy Minister Amir Peretz will also be present.The four cabinet members plan to have a plan formulated by tomorrow and to draft a memorandum by Tuesday, after which it will be submitted to the Knesset for approval.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported the largest daily increase in confirmed coronavirus cases to date.The number of reported cases rose by 237,743 in the last 24 hours, with the majority of cases reported from the United States, Brazil, India, and South Africa.Almost 600,000 people across the world have died of coronavirus-related complications so far, according to data from John Hopkins University.
