The ISA is investigating a new affair related to the activities of a senior employee at the Office of the Prime Minister, who is reportedly considered close to the Netanyahu couple.

<p>Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar spoke with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Timco Mucunski to express Israel's condolences for the tragedy in which more than 50 people were killed and dozens were injured in a nightclub fire. </p><p>He told his counterpart that Israeli medical experts would travel to North Macedonia within the next day to provide medical assistance.</p><p>"I also suggested any other assistance needed. Israel stands by North Macedonia in this difficult time," Sa'ar stated.</p>

The police will summon Nadav Argaman for questioning regarding a complaint of blackmail by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

<p>The ISA Spokesperson published a clarification regarding the Director's response to the Prime Minister's intentions to dismiss him.</p><p>"Following reports on the matter, it should be emphasized that the ISA Director made clear to the Prime Minister that no matter what decision is made, he will respect the law."</p>

<p>The Attorney General wrote to Prime Minister Netanyahu: "You are unable to dismiss the ISA Director until the investigation of the factual and legal basis that underlies your decision and your ability to deal with the issue at this time is completed."</p>
