A planned visit by Israeli high school students to a school north of Toronto has been cancelled following opposition from pro-Palestinian organizations.

<p>Earlier on Monday, IDF troops operating in the central Gaza Strip identified a terrorist who crossed the yellow line and approached the troops, posing an immediate threat to them.</p><p>Following the identification, the IAF eliminated the terrorist.</p><p>"IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat," said the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.</p>
